Three Boy Scouts from Troop 111 at St. Louise Parish in LaGrange Park were elevated to the rank of Eagle Scout during a ceremony at the Parish Center on April 28. The scouts being promoted were (from left) Diego Arroyo, 18, of North Riverside, who built bat boxes for the Cook County Forest Preserve District.; David Keen, 18, of Brookfield, whose project focused on the St. Louise Church flower beds; and Will Doyle, 17, of Brookfield, whose Eagle Scout project was collecting retired flags by placing bins at the Brookfield Village Hall, VFW and Riverside Masonic Lodge.
