Brookfield Zoo will be offering free admission to kids 11 and under on Aug. 5, 6 and 7 in partnership with a couple of corporate sponsors, who will be sponsoring family-friendly healthcare-related activities and snacks in the Pavilions and elsewhere in the park.
Visitors can also enjoy the special Lego exhibit, where more than 1.6 million of the little blocks have been fashioned into 40 life-size animals. Snowflake the albino alligator and a special butterfly habitat exhibit are also still on display.
The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the Kids' Free Days. Admission for adults is $21.95 ($15.95 for seniors 65 and over). Parking is $14.
